Urmila Srabonti Kar. She is well-known as Lux Channel i Super Star. She participated in the reality show in 2009. She was among the top six contestants. That boosted her career in the showbiz arena. She is from Tangail district of Bangladesh. But she grew up in the port city Chittagong because her father’s job location was there.
Her mother is Tripty Kar and father is Ananta Kar. He is a retired officer of Bangladesh Army. Urmila is the youngest child of her parents. She is studying law at Chittagong University. She is dreaming to be an advocate. She is also politically active. She is an active member of Bangladesh Chatra League, the student wing of Bangladesh Awami League.

Multi Talented Performer Shamima Islam Tusti

Shamima Islam Tusti is an Bangladeshi actor, dancer, model and also a teacher. She started theater with Peoples Little Theater when she was only five years old. She was there for about twelve years. Then she joined mother organization of Peoples Little Theater, Loko Nattyadol. She still loves theater and works for it amid busy schedule for TV dramas.
Her first television commercial was for Lux soap, and then she worked for Ispahani tea. But Tusti believes commercial for Horlicks was the turning point in her career. She has already worked for more than forty commercials. Her first television drama was ‘Bhober Hat’, which was directed by Salahuddin Lavlu. That was only the beginning, now she is a very popular actress and busy with shooting for many dramas.
She is a dancer also. She has visited many countries with her dance team. She learned dancing from Shishu Academy (Academy for Children) from her childhood. Now she is a dance teacher of BAF Shaheen College.
Tushi has also acted in some films including Lal Shobuz, Nondito Noroke and Shwapnodanai. She says, she likes acting and wants to become a good actress. Her father and mother always inspire her and they are Tusti’s best inspiration.

Orsha was born in the Mirpur area of Dhaka. Her childhood dream was not like others. She was bookworm, read ample novels. She always wanted to be an actress. She worked as ramp model, also did modeling for some fashion houses and shopping malls.
She participated the Lux Channel i beauty contest in 2009 only to judge herself and secured the fourth position beating thousands of competitors. She also won ‘Close-Up Ms. Beautiful Smile’ prize at that contest. It was the beginning. Then she worked for many TV serials, single episode dramas, telefilms, television commercials and also acted in film.
She says, she can’t find enough time for television due to her academic pressure. She wanted to do more. But she says, she never compromises with quality. Her father is Enamul Haque and mother is Masuda Haque. She is the eldest daughter among the three daughters of her parents.
She is studying food and nutrition science at Dhaka University and wants to be a nutritionist in future.
